I am a work at home mama, artist, seamstress, designer, gardener, percussionist, word enthusiast, and hula-hooper. I live and create in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. I live in the cold, cold piney woods with my sweetheart, our baby, and a delinquent coonhound. I like to write out loud and paint and sew out loud too. I like to sing quietly and I like to listen. I do not like sprouts.
My Sparklegarden shop offers handmade precious metal and gemstone jewelry, custom handstamped pendants and earrings, and bridal jewelry. The twigandfeather shop contains proudly handmade natural fiber and organic clothing and housewares, (cloth napkins, lunchmats, totes)as well as upcycled and re-made clothing that is built to flatter and to last.
Interests include:
drawing, singing, playing drums, mothering Miss Moon, making things, tapping trees, growing the garden, riding my motorcycle, reading, cooking, making artisan bread, sewing, dancing, writing novels, pursuing bliss, hula-hooping, taking pictures, seeing the joy in everyone, loving life! colors. coneys. polaroids. jumping in the lake. cooking and eating phenomenal food. impromptu tea parties. tattoos. book arts. the worlds of journalers. collecting rocks. making punk rock quilts. honoring elders. honoring youngsters. honoring all. composting. finding my own path to happiness ( i believe it is paved in hula hoops, reggae bass lines, and dancing)…..
